Space Age’s New Internet Banking Platform Is Launching Wednesday, May 4 at 6:00 a.m. MST

NEW FEATURES AND CHANGES

LOGGING IN FOR THE FIRST TIME

The first time you visit Space Age’s new internet banking platform, you will be asked to register as a user. During the registration process, you will set-up your new internet banking credentials and verify your identity. You will also be required to retrieve and enter a one-time password, provided to you in a mobile text, an email or through an automated phone call.
Please Note: Each time you log in to a computer or mobile device that you have not selected the “Remember Me” box on, you will be required to retrieve and enter a one-time password.

  • Before May 4, please take a moment to review and update your contact information currently listed in Space Age’s internet banking platform. This is the information that will be used when sending you your one-time password.

MOBILE BANKING APP

Space Age has a new mobile banking app available for both Apple and Android phones. The app will be released to the App Store and Google Play at 6:00 a.m. MST on Wednesday, May 4; however, it may take a few hours before it is accessible to download. The app is titled Space Age Federal Credit Union Mobile Banking.

TRANSFERS TO EXTERNAL ACCOUNTS

While transfers to external accounts is not a new feature to Space Age’s internet banking (formally Account to Account Transfer), some changes have been made. The daily and monthly limit on external account transfers is now set to $2,000.00. Each time you set up a new external account transfer, you will be required to retrieve and enter a one-time password.
Please Note: In order for an external account transfer to occur, the transfer must be set up no later than 2:00 p.m. MST on the requested transfer day.

ACCOUNT ALERTS

Unfortunately, Space Age is unable to convert account alerts to our new internet banking platform. Before Wednesday, May 4, please take a moment to make note of your existing account alerts so that you can easily set them back up in the new internet banking platform.

MOBILE CHECK DEPOSIT

This is a new feature to Space Age’s mobile internet banking. You now have the ability to deposit checks simply by using the camera on your mobile phone. The daily and per item limit on mobile check deposit is $2,500.00, with a rolling monthly limit of $10,000.00.

QUICKEN® DOWNLOAD/MINT USAGE

Do you download your account information into Quicken or aggregate it within Mint? If so, please CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS to retrieve information on how to re-establish your login and aggregation.

Please Note: Aggregation services on Space Age’s new internet banking platform may not be available until May 11.

To best assist you with navigating the new internet banking platform, Space Age is temporarily extending our phone center hours.
Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3 — 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 4 — 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 5 – Friday, May 13 — 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Please Note: Space Age’s phone center is not open on Saturdays or Sundays.

 

BILL PAY

IN PREPARATION FOR OUR UPCOMING INTERNET BANKING CONVERSION, SPACE AGE’S BILL PAY WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FROM MONDAY, MAY 2 AT 5:00 P.M. MST TO WEDNESDAY, MAY 4 AT 7:00 P.M. MST.

Any payments scheduled to pay on Monday, May 2 will be processed as usual. All payments scheduled to pay on Tuesday, May 3 will not be processed until Wednesday, May 4.
Please take a moment and make any adjustments to your payment schedule before May 2.

  • Will My Bill Pay Information Be Available in the New Internet Banking Platform?
    All of your bill pay information will be converted to the new internet banking platform. Once logged in,
    you will have immediate access to your existing payee list, scheduled payments, and bill pay history.
  • Will I Have to Reschedule All My Existing Scheduled Payments?
    No. All payments scheduled in Space Age’s existing internet banking as of 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2
    will be converted to the new platform. However, we do ask that once you log in to the new internet
    banking platform, you verify that your scheduled payments are properly set up.
  • What is the Latest Time I Can Schedule a Payment to be Processed the Same Day?
    The latest you can schedule a payment and have it be processed the same day is 2:00 p.m. MST.
  • When Will My Payment Amount Be Debited from My Account?
    If your payment is processed electronically, your account will be debited the payment amount at the time
    the payment is sent. If a payment is processed as a check, your account will not be debited the payment
    amount until the check has been cashed by the recipient.
  • What New Bill Pay Features Will Be Available in Space Age’s New Internet Banking Platform?
    In addition to all our existing features, you will be able to make:
    • Person-to-Person Payments
    Want to pay your babysitter or baseball coach electronically, but don’t have their account
    information? Not a problem. You will now be able to send them an email, and once they verify their
    identity and provide account information, the payment will be immediately deposited in their account.
    • Gift Pay
    Send your family member or friend a small token to let them know you are thinking of them on a
    special occasion. All gift payments are mailed as checks and customized with your unique message.
    • Bill Pay Alerts
    Want to be reminded of a payment being due? You now can. With a variety of alert options available,
    you will never have to worry about forgetting to schedule a payment again.
  • Who Should I Contact If I Have Questions?
    Starting Wednesday, May 4, you will have 24 hours a day, seven days a week, bill pay phone and online chat support through
    iPay, Space Age’s third party bill pay provider. They can be reached directly at 1-855-889-6491.
