Refer a friend, member of the family, co-worker, or business to join Space Age Credit Union that meets the membership qualifications* and you'll each earn a Space Age Referral Coupon worth an additional 0.50% APY* on select Space Age Certificate or 0.50% OFF APR on select Fixed Rate Loans opened within 1 year after the referred member opens their account.
All the referred person needs to do is open a savings account plus one of the following:
- Open a checking account with a Debit Card.
- Open a credit card.
- Open a loan of any kind.
After your referral meets the qualifications, you'll both receive an email with your Referral Coupon.
Who Can Join?
You are eligible to join if:
- You are an employee at any of our partnering companies or their family.
- You live, work, worship or attend school in Lowry.
- You are an employee of Jefferson County Government or the City of Golden.

*APR = Annual Percentage Rate. APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Referred member must not have been an owner of a Space Age loan, credit card, checking or savings account in the past. Youth memberships are not eligible, and you must be at least 18 years old to receive a Referral Coupon. If the referring member is a Joint or beneficiary, they do not qualify for the Referral Coupon. Youth Prime Certificates are excluded from the Referral Coupon APY increase. Only valid on 9-month or 12-month certificate terms. First Mortgages and Credit Cards are excluded from the Referral Coupon APR decrease. The Referred member must join and open a loan, credit card, or checking account with a debit card in addition to their savings account to qualify. Member and referred member will receive their Referral Coupon after the referred member has met the qualifications. Referred member must provide the name of the member that referred them when opening their account with Space Age. The Referral Coupon cannot be combined with any Space Age promotional rate increase or decrease. Members have 1 year from the opening date of the referred members qualifying account to redeem the Referral Coupon. Only 1 Referral Coupon per account and per member. Limited time offer.
